How to check a paper for AI and what to do with the score

Run the paper through a sentence-level AI check, read which sentences are flagged, and fix those instead of chasing the number. PaperCheck does the check free, up to 20,000 words, 5 times a week.

Read the score the right way

The percentage is the share of words in flagged sentences. 10% means one tenth of your text was flagged, not that you were 10% sure of anything. Look at where the flags sit before deciding how much work it needs.

A simple routine

  1. Check the whole paper once on the home page.
  2. Rewrite the flagged sentences: shorter or longer, specific numbers, your own examples, fewer stock transitions.
  3. Check again and compare. Stop when the flagged parts are gone or read as your own voice.

When to use the reducer

If many sentences are flagged, the reducer rewrites them for Rs 30 per paper and keeps numbers and citations. Try the free 1,000-word sample first, once per account. See details and real results.

Common questions

What is a good AI score?

There is no universal number. Lower is safer, and the flagged sentences matter more than the total.

How many words can I check?

Up to 20,000 words per check, 5 free checks a week.

Does a fix keep my citations?

The reducer keeps numbers, units and citations as they were.
