What journals ask

Publishers such as Elsevier, Springer Nature and IEEE ask authors to disclose the use of generative AI in writing and do not accept AI tools as authors. Most also run similarity checks on submissions.

What to check

  1. AI-like writing in the abstract, introduction and discussion.
  2. Copied phrases from related work and methods.
  3. That every reused idea is cited.

How PaperCheck helps

It scores every sentence for AI-like writing, marks the ones to revise and checks plagiarism against the papers you cite plus arXiv, Wikipedia, Europe PMC and OpenAlex, in one report.
