How to check your paper for plagiarism against arXiv

Upload your paper to PaperCheck. It finds the arXiv papers in your reference list, searches arXiv for related papers, and shows every phrase of eight or more words that matches, with the source and whether you cited it.

What gets compared

The full text of the arXiv papers you cite, plus related arXiv papers found by searching with your paper's key terms. It does not search the whole web, so it is not a replacement for Turnitin's similarity report.

What the report shows

Each matching phrase is marked in red in your paper, with the source paper next to it. Matches from papers you did not cite are listed first, because those are the ones that may need a citation added.

Your own preprint

If your paper is already on arXiv, it will match itself. You can exclude that ID in the options.
