Typical documents are final-year project reports, mini-project reports, seminar reports and M.Tech dissertations. PaperCheck reads Word and PDF files, skips the certificate, declaration, acknowledgement, tables and references, and scores the running text.
It gives an estimate from our own detector. On our own test of 1,378 papers it caught 97.7% of AI-written papers and wrongly flagged 0.43% of human-written ones (2 of 469). That test is ours, not independently validated, and it is for whole papers: short essays score much lower. It cannot predict the number your MAKAUT checker will show.
